The local airport terminal is Thandwe and is just a few kilometres from the beach resorts. You can find flights from and to Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Heho (Inle Lake). However, these courses thin in monsoon season with terminations on the day being common. Your most reliable route is in and out of Yangon.
